KEN-ICHI SUEMITSU:          Information:  July 1980.

Born on October 18, 1947, in Peking, China.  He came to his parents
home country, Japan, in 1948, without his parents.  His father was
imprisoned as a POW and didn't return to Japan.

He grew up at orphanages in various places in Japan. He has no family,
no relatives, not yet married, has a steady girl-friend.

1968 started bodybuilding at age 21.

    8 months later, 5th place, Mr. Tokyo.
    10 months later, 13th place, Mr. Japan.

1969 "Mr. Tokyo"  winner.
1969 "Mr. East Japan"  2nd place
     "Mr. Japan"  8th place
